がんプレシジョン医療：入門①

「プレシジョン医療」という言葉は、オバマ前米国大統領が2015年の一般教書演説で、「プレシジョン医療イニシアチブ」を提案したことから、広く利用されることになった。オバマ氏の発言を借りて、「プレシジョン医療」のゴールを説明すると、「the right treatments at the right time, every time, to the right person」（必要な患者に、必要な時にいつでも、必要な治療法を）となり、私が1996年に提唱した「オーダーメイド医療」にほぼ重なる意味合いを持つ。
